  1. Responsibilities

1.1 Respect for Property and Individuals: Explorers should be respectful and considerate of the property, belongings, and privacy of the host and other participants.

1.2 Courtesy and Respect: Explorers must treat the host, fellow participants, and any individuals encountered during the experience with courtesy and respect.

1.3 Positive Interactions: Explorers are encouraged to engage in positive and constructive interactions, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

1.4 Preparation for Experience: Explorers are encouraged to come prepared for the experience by bringing any necessary items or equipment as advised by the host.

1.5 Active Participation: Explorers should actively participate in the activities offered, following instructions provided by the host and engaging with the experience in a positive and enthusiastic manner.

1.6 Punctuality: Explorers are encouraged to maintain punctuality, as late arrivals may disrupt the flow of the experience for both the host and other participants.

1.7 Compliance with Policies and Laws: Explorers are obligated to comply with Bless’s policies, as well as any applicable laws, regulations, and community guidelines.

1.8 Conduct and Environment: Explorers should conduct themselves in a manner that reflects positively on the community and respects the local environment and culture.

  1. Assumption of Responsibility, Physical & Property Risk

2.1 Acknowledgment of Risks: Explorers must acknowledge that participation in experiences involves inherent risks, which can vary depending on the nature of the activity, the location, and other factors.

2.2 Acceptance of Risks: Explorers must recognize and accept these risks before participating in any experience.

2.3 Responsibility for Safety: Explorers assume full responsibility for their own safety and well-being during the experience.

2.4 Host Responsibilities: While hosts are expected to provide a safe environment and adhere to any relevant safety guidelines, explorers ultimately bear the responsibility for their own actions and decisions.

2.5 Property Damage: Explorers are responsible for any damage to property caused by their actions during the experience and are encouraged to treat the host's property with care and respect, reporting any accidents or damage promptly.

2.6 Indemnification: By using Bless to book experiences, explorers must agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless our company from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

  • 2.6.1 Their violation of these Terms, the Experience Host standards, or any applicable law, rule, or regulation.

  • 2.6.2 Their interaction with any Experience Host or participation in any Experience, including without limitation any injuries, losses, or damages (whether compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential, or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of such interaction or participation.

  • 2.6.3 Their breach of any representations, warranties, or agreements contained in these Terms.

  • 2.6.4 Their violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property, or privacy right.

  • 2.6.5 Any dispute between them and hosts.

  1. Check-In & Check-Out

3.1 Adherence to Check-In Times: Explorers should adhere to the specified check-in times established by the host or property owner.

3.2 Communication of Arrival Time: It is important for explorers to communicate their estimated time of arrival to the host in advance, allowing for proper arrangements to be made.

3.3 Check-In Process: Upon arrival, explorers must present their unique QR code generated on Bless to the host to scan in order to check in.

3.4 Access Instructions: Explorers should follow any instructions provided by the host regarding accessing the property/premise/location.

3.5 Check-Out Procedures: Explorers are required to vacate the premises at the designated end time of the experience booked and follow the host’s check-out instructions, including:

  • 3.5.1 Tidying up the location and returning equipment or items provided by the host to their original locations.

  • 3.5.2 Disposing of trash and recyclables in designated receptacles.

  • 3.5.3 Returning any keys, access cards, or other provided items to the host.

3.6 Feedback: Explorers are encouraged to provide honest and constructive feedback about their experience. Reviews help improve the experience for future explorers and are highly valued by the host and the community.

  1. Compliance with Host Rules

4.1 Communication with Host: Explorers are encouraged to reach out to the host with any questions, concerns, or special requests before, during, or after the experience.

4.2 Familiarization with Rules: Explorers are required to familiarize themselves with and abide by any rules or guidelines set forth by the host for the duration of their stay or participation in an experience.

4.3 Review of House Rules: It is important that explorers carefully review the house rules provided by the host before booking or attending an experience to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved.

4.4 Noise and Behavior: Explorers should be mindful of noise levels and respectful of neighbors, particularly in shared accommodations or residential areas. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior that may disturb other explorers, neighbors, or the host is prohibited.

4.5 Safety Compliance: Explorers are required to comply with any safety regulations or guidelines provided by the host to ensure the well-being of all individuals on the premises. This may include instructions regarding the use of appliances, fire safety procedures, or other safety considerations specific to the property or experience.

  1. Prohibited Activities

5.1 Noise and Disturbances: Explorers are expected to be mindful of noise levels and avoid causing disturbances to neighbors or other explorers. Excessive noise, loud parties, or disruptive behavior that interferes with the peace and privacy of others are not permitted.

5.2 Unauthorized Guests: Only registered explorers are permitted to stay at the location of the experience. Hosting additional guests without prior approval from the host is prohibited.

5.3 Smoking Restrictions: Smoking is prohibited indoors on the host's property. Explorers may be required to use designated smoking areas, if available, and must properly dispose of cigarette butts and other smoking-related waste.

5.4 Security and Safety Measures: Explorers are expected to comply with all security and safety measures implemented by the host, including but not limited to locking doors and windows, using security systems, and following emergency procedures.

5.5 Prohibited Activities: Explorers must not engage in other prohibited activities outlined in the Terms of Services of Bless.

  1. Emergency Contacts

6.1 Host Assistance: In the event of an emergency, explorers can reach out to their host for assistance. Hosts are encouraged to provide support and guidance to explorers during emergencies to the best of their abilities.

6.2 Emergency Services: In the event of an emergency which requires immediate police/ambulance/fire attention, explorers are advised to immediately report to 911.

6.3 Bless Support: Explorers are encouraged to use Bless’s messaging system to report emergencies or seek assistance from the Bless support team.

  1. Health and Safety

7.1 Health Precautions: Explorers should follow any health and safety guidelines provided by the host, including wearing appropriate safety gear and following hygiene protocols.

7.2 Medical Conditions: Explorers are responsible for disclosing any relevant medical conditions to the host that may affect their ability to participate in the experience safely.

7.3 Emergency Procedures: Explorers should familiarize themselves with emergency procedures and the location of emergency exits and first aid supplies.

  1. Communication and Conduct

8.1 Open Communication: Explorers are encouraged to maintain open communication with the host, informing them of any issues or concerns as soon as they arise.

8.2 Respectful Conduct: Explorers must conduct themselves respectfully and professionally at all times, avoiding any behavior that could be considered abusive, discriminatory, or harassing.

8.3 Feedback and Reviews: Explorers are encouraged to provide constructive feedback and reviews after the experience, helping to improve the quality of future experiences and maintaining a positive community atmosphere.
